The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities This position is responsible for leading a broad and growing team dedicated to development of web-based products for our customers. This position will develop strategy and lead the team to providing website development, domain management, hosting, SEM and SEO, e-marketing and multimedia offerings. Specifically, this role is a strategic partner to our Web Services product manager in developing cutting edge solutions to customer needs while at the same time delivering completed solutions that meets or beats industry averages.Qualifications 1. Bachelors degree in a technical field; masters in technical field or MBA strongly preferred 2. Minimum 8 years of internet / new media / web based management experience, experience building teams in a rapid growth web environment. 3. Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex operations and activities, preferably in a media or publishing environment 4. Experience working with studio, large portal (AOL, Yahoo, MSN, FIM, Google) or web publishing operations a plus. Ability to stay abreast of latest technical trends and accurately assess applicability in our environment and drive implementation as appropriate. 5. Strong technical aptitude and expertise with MS Windows and MS Office tools ; proficient in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and project management software 6. Familiarity with digital transmission systems such as FTP 7. Proven ability to partner with various technical and non-technical groups within an organization such as Marketing, Sales and IT to build consensus, gather and execute requirements 8. Excellent written and oral communication skills ? ability to present ideas, proposals and business updates to more senior leaders that instills confidence and shapes business strategy. 9. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, self motivation and ability to work under pressure 10. Team player with demonstrated capability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment. 11. Familiarity with managing product flow in a manufacturing operation: maximizing efficiency, reducing cycle time, maintaining quality, etc. 12. Experience working in a web production environment; proven success in achieving efficiency and throughput goals. 13. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment 14. Knowledge of project management best practices 15.
