Senior Account Executive

The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities The Senior Account Executive is a key member of the LexisNexis InterAction sales organization. You will be responsible for selling the InterAction CRM solution directly to customers in an assigned territory and/or accounts. Your responsibilities will include generating new major account leads, following up sales leads, demonstrating, managing, negotiating, and closing sales opportunities. There is currently one open position based in Chicago. Responsibilities - Meet and/exceed annual sales quota with extremely competitive commission earnings potential. - Responsible for full sales cycle, from leads to on-going account relationships. - Proven territory development skills. Must be able to qualify excellent customer leads. - Able to identify decision-makers and build strong relationships with them. - Superior professional presence and business acumen. - Creation of proposal and answering of RFPs. - Handling technical objections and clearly articulating the product architecture and its benefits. - Coordinating with Professional Services to insure a smooth transfer of knowledge to facilitate the implementation process. - Maintain clear understanding of how existing customers are utilizing InterAction.Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, engineering or technical field. MBA desirable. - 5+ years successful sales experience selling complex software solutions. - Excellent written and verbal skills. - A hunger for success and a passion for cultivating client relationships. - Experience selling in the professional services industry a plus. - Expected travel moderate within specific sales territory.Other Information The preferred level of education for this position is Bachelor's Level Degree.Closing Statement LexisNexis employs over 13,000 people in more than 20 countries who serve customers in more than 100 countries.
