Records Management Opportunity! Global Law Firm in NOVA!
Do you have at least two years of experience in law firm records management? Are you interested only in permanent opportunities working directly for a law firm and not an outsourcing company? Here is your chance to find the permanent position you’ve been looking for to utilize your strong background in records management! This large global law firm has an opportunity for an experienced law firm record assistant to join their professional staff in the records department. The available position is in our McLean office located in Tyson’s Corner. You’ll have the opportunity to work for a very experienced manager and coordinator with a large professional staff. This position is working in the intellectual property area. Your responsibilities will include: the maintenance of client files and records for the Firm, responsibility for both active and inactive files and records, coordination of off site storage, creation of new client matters in LegalKEY, assigning barcodes to files using LegalKEY, delivery and shelving of files, general records department maintenance, and other duties as assigned by the Records Manager. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, as well as possess the ability and willingness to work as a team member. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Knowledge of LegalKEY or another records management database is required as is experience in a law firm records department. Prefer candidates with IP experience. This position requires that the person be able to move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. The firm is offering a generous salary, as well as the chance to cut out the commute into DC!
