Receptionist- Law Office
Job Purpose:
Serves clients and visitors by greeting and referring them; notifying staff member of their arrival; maintaining reception room security and appearance.
Duties:
* Welcomes clients and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; transferring calls; answering or referring inquiries.
* Helps potential clients by screening type of inquiry; transferring call to legal assistant.
* Maintains reception areas by straightening up; requesting help for potential security issues; telephone equipment.
* Keeps telephone equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
* Updates appointment and location schedules by inputting data.
* Supports attorneys by following-up on "no show" appointments; preparing files for new clients.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
* Accomplishes law firm mission by completing related results as needed.
  ** Bilingual preference but not required.
