Proposal Coordinator

www.hhlaw.com Summary:We are seeking a Washington, D.C.-based Proposal Coordinator to assist the Proposal Manager with effective proposal coordination in a fast-paced/results-oriented environment. Under the supervision of the proposal manager, the coordinator will have primary responsibility for the following:' Liaise with responsible attorneys on proposal development' Design and develop proposals for clients in the public and private sector' Compile and collect information for the preparation of legal proposals ' Manage and produce draft and final text and work with our graphics designer, as appropriate, for all assigned proposal efforts ' Check proposal materials for grammar and compliance with the Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements ' Manage the final production of proposals for client delivery' Assist the Proposal Manager in developing, recording, tracking and disseminating quarterly and annual reports on proposal results' Maintain and update standard materials in proposal management database ' Assist the Proposal Manager in training personnel on proposal management tool and supporting technologies Qualifications/Skills:' Knowledge and understanding of the proposal development process ' Strong writing skills' Skilled in the use of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel' Strong interpersonal, communication and troubleshooting skills ' Strong administrative, organizational, time, and problem-solving skills ' Basic editing and proofreading capabilities ' Ability to work on multiple proposals under tight deadlines ' Ability to work independently and as part of a team ' Ability to multitask and set priorities Education, Certifications and/or Experience:' 3+ years marketing or proposal experience in a professional services, corporate or agency environment' A BS or BA degree in marketing, communications or related field is preferredOffice Hours (includes lunch hours):9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. M-F; must be available to work overtime as needed This job description sets forth the authorities and responsibilities of this position and may be changed from time to time as shall be determined.
