The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities The Product Planner will work with customers, industry experts, sales and marketing professionals to drive the product direction and feature requirements for martindale.com, the leading online destination for sophisticated buyers of legal services. This position is responsible for leading internal development teams to execute on the product roadmap and to manage the product through its entire life cycle in order to maximize revenues and profits for LexisNexis Client Development solutions.Qualifications 1. Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred. 2. Requires a minimum of 5-7 years of experience, preferably in a product management or equivalent role at internet or software companies. 3. Passion for technology and the internet, especially social networking, online communities, and/or web 2.0 technologies; strong awareness of emerging web trends and potential influence on LexisNexis? business. 4. Results-oriented self-starter who can operate under minimal supervision in an unstructured environment. 5. In-depth knowledge of the product development and evaluation process. Exposure to Agile development a plus. 6. Skills required include business acumen, organizational assessment, creativity, interpersonal skills, and quantitative analytical abilities. 7. Must be an outstanding communicator and be comfortable interacting with a diverse group of technical and non-technical people including senior executives, sales, marketing, development, operations, customers and business partners. 8.
