This is a small firm so job covers a wide gambit of duties and skills (hence job title of "Legal Secretary / Paralegal"): Preparation of Litigation Documents including: * Case Management Statements * Mediation and Arbitration Briefs * Minor's Compromise * Subpoenas, 998s, DME Responses, etc. * Summons & Complaint Your job will also include: * Calendaring (you must be familiar with Court Rules) * Trial Doc Preparation * Propounding and Answering Discovery * Some research * Corresponding with Clients * Some pre-lit Familiarity with: * Outlook * Hot Docs * Word Perfect * Westlaw * Adobe Acrobat Professional * Personal Injury Powertool (PIP) - we can train you in this program This firm provides a great working atmosphere, view office, warm, professional and friendly surroundings.
