Location: Job location not providedYour location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Apply Online Send this Job to a Friend Wireless Communication Company seeks Patent Litigation Counsel.As a member of the Patents Group, candidate will work closely with the head of IP Litigation and other attorneys, and will be responsible for managing various patent litigation and arbitration matters. Responsibilities:Responsibilities in this role include creating and implementing litigation strategies, management and coordination of outside counsel, and oversight of all filings, hearings and trials in various matters. This attorney will work with in-house attorneys in both the patent and general legal areas as well as with employees involved in engineering and standards. This attorney must be able to handle many interrelated matters in different jurisdictions with multiple defendants, multiple issues and multiple counsel, and must be able to handle all day-to-day aspects of litigation management. Critical attributes include: strong analytical skills; strong legal and business judgement; attention to detail; excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task; and excellent written and oral communication. Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, is required. Other duties may be assigned as required.Qualifications:· 6-10+ years of patent litigation experience in a major law firm; additional in-house experience a plus. · Experience with Section 337 proceedings before the International Trade Commission a plus. · JD required. · Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering undergraduate degree preferred. · Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office preferred. · Knowledge of wireless telecommunication technologies and standards a plus.
