Office Services Clerk
JOB DUTIES:
Assist with operations, facilities, conference services and mail services functions as part of the Office Services team in the Charlotte office. Log and distribute incoming morning UPS and FedEx deliveries; distribute morning pouches from other Winston & Strawn LLP offices; collect and distribute interoffice mail throughout the day; lift, handle and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds; meter and charge outgoing US mail; prepare the afternoon pouches going to other Winston & Strawn LLP offices; generate FedEx labels online; perform outside delivery runs of mail, FedEx and other packages.
Perform time sensitive copy and scan jobs. Operate paper drill, Velobinding machine, spiral binding machine; send faxes and route completed transmissions; perform user level maintenance to copiers, fax machines and other reproduction center equipment. Prepare and place conference room set-ups adhering to the high standards of the Firm. Clean and straighten conference rooms. Inspect, evaluate and report furniture damage; address service requests. Process file boxes for off-site storage; label old files for storage; maintain departmental activity and service logs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be specifically listed on resume in order to be considered for this position:
· High school diploma or GED required
· 1 year minimum office services experience
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact with all levels of personnel. Willingness to work overtime as necessary. Strong attention to detail. Ability to solve problems choosing from clear cut alternatives.
