The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities This position exists to provide leadership, management, direction, and vision to software engineer and/or development employees. This includes providing direction to project leaders/managers, in house software developers, contractors/consultants and interns for those projects that require IT involvement. Directs the successful completion of projects and reports to senior management.Qualifications 1. BS/BA in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience. 2. Five or more years of proven successful people leadership and project management leadership experience. 3. Versatile communication skill with the ability to communicate technical issues and/or concepts to technical and non-technical personnel. 4. Demonstrated ability in areas of personal leadership, influence and impact. 5. Broad knowledge and experience in Systems Development Life Cycles, Testing Techniques, Systems Operations, Database Fabrication, Database Design, and Project Management Techniques.Additional required skills: Agile, Scrum, C++, MFC, Visual Studio 2005, Visual Studio 2003, Team Foundation Server (TFS) Other Information The following major/degree is preferred for the position:Computer Science or EqThe preferred level of education for this position is Bachelor's Level Degree.The preferred years of experience for this position is 5 years.Closing Statement LexisNexis?, is a leading global provider of business information solutions to professionals in a variety of areas, including: legal, corporate, government, law enforcement, tax, accounting, academic and risk and compliance assessment.
