Description:
Media Relations Coordinator, Business Development needed for premier international Law Firm to assist with general media activities and coordinate internal and external communication efforts, with a particular emphasis on legal directories.

Responsibilities:Collaborating with Media Relations Manager to develop a system to efficiently coordinate and track all submissions to legal directories in which the firm decides to participateCoordinating all written directory submissions and related requests for informationCoordinating all lawyer interviews related to directory submissionsActing as the point of contact at the firm for all outside directory representatives and researchersProducing analytical reports on research resultsWorking closely and cooperatively with global business development team, including those responsible for pitches, web site and collateral materials, events and graphic designContributing to the Business Development Group's overall firmwide efforts, including supporting media relations and other projects on an as needed basis

Qualifications:2+ years of experience in media relations, journalism or corporate communications; law firm experience a significant plusExcellent written and oral communication skills and persuasive abilityBachelor's Degree in communication, journalism or a related area (4329B~) Development
