Litigation Secretary (Downtown LA)

Boutique downtown Los Angeles law firm is seeking an experienced litigation secretary on a temp-to-hire basis. This firm is a plaintiffs labor/employment law firm. The ideal candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the local court rules and be able to accurately prepare pleadings and motions; handle state and federal court filings; prepare and serve discovery and subpoenas; schedule hearings and depositions; proofread; compose and edit correspondence; process tape transcription; maintain attorney calendar; coordinate travel arrangements. Requirements: type at least 65 wpm; possess at least 4 years of solid (i.e. have not jumped around to several jobs in a short period of time) litigation experience at a mid-sized to large law firm; must possess proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure; outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to multi-task and good organizational skills; good work ethic and “team player” attitude; ability to work at least 40 hours per week; etc.Start Date: Immediate need.Interested and qualified candidates should email resumes in WORD format to donald@rhumblinelegal.com For more information and opportunities, please visit our website: www.rhumblinelegal.com
