Litigation Paralegal-Temporary
Litigation Paralegal
Solomon Page Group LLC is currently looking for an experienced litigation paralegal to assist with a large case that will be going to trial this fall. This is a temporary position.
To be considered for this position, the candidate must have litigation experience in a large law firm, experience with Concordance, Live Note, Imanage, Word & Outlook, Westlaw. In addition, the candidate must have experience preparing Exhibits and must be familiar with Deposition Designations and is proficient at cite checking and blue booking.
A college degree is required. Paralegal certificate is a plus but not required.
The trial is out of state, but the candidate will work in NYC before, during and after the trial. The hours may require flexibility - some weeks the hours may only be 40 and during the trial the hours could be as high as 60. This job is expected to last 3-4 months.
Compensation will be competitive and based on experience. The rate for hours worked over 40 will be the OT rate of time and 1/2.
Individuals with a JD may be considered for this position but will still be paid at a paralegal rate.
