Litigation Paralegal – Landlord/Tenant Rep
Description:
Newmark Knight Frank is seeking a Landlord/Tenant Paralegal to join their team of professionals. This position is located in Midtown Manhattan and supports the landlord/tenant litigation attorney. This business is fast-paced and requires someone who is highly motivated, proactive, dependable and professional. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently.

Requirements:
§3+ years of legal experience. Landlord/Tenant experience highly preferred
§Familiarity with general office equipment with strong MS Office and word processing experience
§Well organized and thorough, with great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
§Possess excellent verbal & written communication skills, including strong proofreading and grammatical skills
§Familiarity with time billing and/or time slips (strongly preferred)
§Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm, with the ability to stay later as needed
Responsibilities Include:
§Document production, case preparation and file maintenance
§Drafting correspondence, memos and reports
§Facilitate communication between Attorney, Court Justices & Staff, Marshal, adversaries, clients & vendors
§Assist in bookkeeping and collections
§Conduct online research (via public and/or private websites & databases)
§Work on special projects as needed
