Legal User Support Analyst (Downtown LA)
International firm with low turn-over in tech dept. seeks User Support Analyst for its Downtown LA office. Job Responsibilities:Providing hands on desktop support in a large office environment. Responsibilities include but not limited to providing second level support on escalated issues from the Help Desk, ability to escalate problems to the appropriate Analysts, Programmers, Operations or Engineers when necessary, assisting with information gathering and problem solving of escalated hardware support issues.
Job Requirements: Minimum of 3 years software experience in a team oriented IT structure. Must possess intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, Windows 2000/XP in a wired/wireless network environment, Active Directory, DOCS Open, Elite, Internet, intranet, telephone, voicemail/Cisco Systems/Cisco IP Phones, Blackberry Manager, email, proprietary applications and setting up videoconferences. Knowledge of Microsoft SMS 2003, Citrix Metaframe, Terminal Services, Nortel Contivity client, iPass, other Remote Access technologies and Help Desk software. Symantec and other personal firewall software experience helpful. Experience with HP/Compaq desktops/laptops/servers, HP and Xerox printers, installing, moving and configuring computer and telephone hardware is preferred. Successful candidates will possess excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with various levels of users. Able to research and troubleshoot PC hardware and peripherals issues. Must be willing and able to work overtime and travel as needed. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred and Microsoft A+ certification is a plus. This position is day shift - Monday through Friday - 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Salary is DOE.
