It is the market leader in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, and the countries of the former CIS, with highly-trained, experienced, and knowledgeable consultants who are passionate about bringing talented lawyers and leading law firms together.  Currently we are seeking a consultant to be trained initially in Budapest, with transfer eventually to Kiev, Ukraine.  The Hudson Legal business in Emerging Europe is seeking enthusiastic and committed consultants who thrive in delivering results in a target driven, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.  Your responsibilities will be:  Developing business with clients including leading international and local law firms and the in-house legal departments of corporate companies; building relationships with clients and developing a good understanding of what law firms do and their work culture; Initiating and conducting research to identify lawyers,  using both “desk-based' (database, internet etc.) and telephone-based approach Actively sourcing, profiling, approaching and meeting potential lawyers and assessing their skills against the client’s requirements; Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews (telephone and in person); checking references and suitability of lawyers before referral to law firms for interview Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalizing arrangements between the parties. Requirements:    University Degree / preferably in law but not required Fluent English; other languages are an advantage, specially Ukrainian Strong written and verbal communication skills Team player and relationship builder Demonstrate outstanding time-management and organizational skills as you will work independently Analytical approach to your work Possess an interest in, or previous knowledge of legal market/law firmsTrainingYou will be trained in Budapest on how to work with client companies. We will train you in understanding of the recruitment needs and requirements of law firms. You will learn how to attract candidates by drafting advertising copies and using a wide range of media.
