Legal Assistant - Pre-Litigation, Workers' Compensation and Receptionist
Houston personal injury lawfirm has openings for a prelitigation case manager, workers' compensation case manager and receptionist. Bilingual English/Spanish is necessary.

The Pre Litigation Case Manager will assist in developing case information by coordinating medical treatment, assisting in settling property damage, ordering medical records evidence, and preparing demands in anticipation of settlement under supervision of an attorney.
Duties:
* Builds cases by interviewing prospective clients; obtaining case information; reviewing information with an attorney.
* Collects case evidence and documentation by contacting people involved in the case; inputting information into file database and case management software; logging incoming mail; forwarding information requirements to an investigator.
* Keeps clients informed by communicating case progress.
* Moves cases forward by verifying outstanding balances; preparing settlement documentation; passing case to litigation.
* Accomplishes law firm mission by completing related results as needed.
