The position of Legal Administration Manager will work with legal department staff including officers, attorneys, paralegals and administrative staff. This person will work closely within a 4 person Legal Administration Team. This position will also work with the Finance, HR and Facilities organizations within McDonald's. The position will encompass broad responsibilities and will be a strong partner with the Sr. Director Legal Administration, and involved in many department initiatives supporting the legal strategic plan.This position will be a liaison to our Paralegal and Administrative employee groups. The purpose of this role will be to create strong alignment among these employee groups and to provide support and guidance in the areas of training, best practice sharing and career development.There are also financial responsibilities including the budgeting and forecasting process for all groups within the legal department. Other financial responsibilities will include monthly expense analysis, analysis and reporting of outside legal expenses and reporting and analysis of our international markets legal expenses. This position will also be responsible for office management including ongoing legal department facility management, office equipment management and office supply management. Other responsibilities include on boarding and orientation of new employees and support in the areas of employee surveys and compensation analysis. Position requirements:5 ' 8 years of experience working with the administrative aspects of a corporate legal department. Similar experience in a law firm will also be considered. Excellent leadership, communication, customer relations and teamwork skills are required. Sound business judgement and deep knowledge of business issues within global corporate law departments are also important for this position.
