LEGAL TECHNOLOGY PROJECT COORDINATORLegal Technology Project Coordinators analyze, consult, plan and implement litigation support workflows in the practice areas and administrative departments of the Firm. Legal Technology Project Coordinators apply database, image base and web technology in support of the Firm's goals and requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1.  Oversees, coordinates and tracks project progress and work-flow from inception to trial or deal closing.2.  Acts as liaison between the staff of Practice Support and Network Systems and case teams, attorneys and clients on projects. 3.  Designs databases and reports. 4.  Review database data loads. 5.  Develop recommendations, plans, cost estimates, budgets, procedures, and specifications for case-specific projects from discovery to trial phase. 6.  Drafts project proposals and provide status reports. 7.  Provides end user support and customer service. 8.  Interact with users of varying skill level 9.  Responds to on-demand training and assistance requests. 10.  Troubleshoot litigation support applications. 11.  Maintains and updates project files and documentation. 12.  Gathers information regarding needs and processes of the various practice areas. 13.  Researches latest technology trends. 14.  Participates in development of long-term strategies in support of the Firm's practice areas. 15.  Contacts and reviews vendors. 16.  Creates cost analyses for projects done by vendors. 17.  Manages projects sent to vendors. 18.  Reviews and verifies bills presented by vendors for projects. 19.  Assist in professional development of staff members. 20.  Performs other related duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER JOB-RELATED COMPETENCIES: 1.  Ability to maximize functionality of job-related computer software, i.e. Web, imaging and database technology. 2.  Ability to implement project management methodology. 3.  Ability to communicate effectively. - Ability to administer Firm policies and procedures. 4.  Ability to deal courteously/effectively with others. 5.  Ability to organize and prioritize work. 6.  Ability to meet critical deadlines. 7.  Ability to multi-task. 8.  Ability to handle multiple projects, cases, clients, vendors, etc. 9.  Ability to be flexible to adjust hours to meet operating needs. 10.  Strong verbal and written communication skills SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 1.  Working knowledge of Concordance, Summation and other litigation support software. 2.  Working knowledge of electronic data processing for discovery. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1.  Bachelor’s degree. 2.  Experience in a litigation environment with thorough knowledge of the litigation process and an understanding of the use of technology to support litigation efforts. 3.  A detailed knowledge of the processes of litigation with emphasis on trial procedures, discovery, document production, document management, coding and scanning procedures and use.4.  LAW FIRM EXPERIENCE A MUST!5.  Willing to travel. 6.  At least three to five years of related experience.
