International Offices Assistant

www.hhlaw.com SUMMARYThis person will be responsible for the processing of the financial activity for assigned international offices in a timely manner as well as assist I/O manager with ad hoc reports.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES' Prepare for entry into the Elite system the entries to record all cash transactions for assigned international offices.' Prepare for entry into the Elite system any client payments made to the international offices.' Prepare for entry into the Elite system all client disbursement charges incurred in the international offices.' Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports for local tax filing.' Reconcile the bank, petty cash and suspense accounts for assigned international offices.' Reconcile VAT accounts for assigned international offices.' Research and gather supporting documents to backup information as requested by attorneys, secretaries and/or others.' Work with the international offices supervisor or manager as needed on special projects.' Photocopy, typing memos, filing, sending faxes and courier packages as needed.' Assist others in the department if needed.' and other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong attention to detail, organized, ability to handle multi-tasks, willingness to learn, team player and flexible to do whatever it takes to meet deadlines and get the job done. Overtime is required and no vacations are allowed during December or January.EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:College degree preferred, experience with bookkeeping/accounting/finance functions required and STRONG Excel skills required.LANGUAGE SKILLS:Strong oral and written skills required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Filing in storage areas is sometimes necessary.OFFICE HOURS (include lunch hours):8:30am - 5:00am or 9:00am ' 5:30pmThis job description sets forth the authorities and responsibilities of this position and may be changed from time to time as shall be determined.
