The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities The Project Manager Lead will have overall responsibility and accountability for facilitating all internal and external resources to benefit the integration of the combined organization. The Project Manager Lead will also be required to gather data, evaluate specifications, and determine key requirements/outcomes that will successfully meet the needs of the combined company. The Project Manager Lead will interpret management needs to ensure that the product/service is accurately defined for development, costing, and processing. The person will oversee and coordinate changes affecting the scope of the overall integration and ensure that the changes are accurately defined with appropriate expense allocated for successful completion. Additionally, the Project Manager Lead is responsible for regular reporting status of the project to established oversight groups.Qualifications 1. Experience in working with integrations in an M&A environment is a plus. 2. Must have sound business judgment and be able to make recommendations and decisions for achieving integration and financial objectives 3. A strong desire for quality; attention to detail with excellent problem solving and organizational skills. 4. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills that can will be utilized in presenting to senior management. 5. Good judgment skills required to assess risk. 6. Ability to promote teamwork and work in cross-functional teams.Accountabilities: Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situations and data require evaluation of various factors, including understanding of current business trends. Manages the project scope to facilitate the successful completion of the project objectives based upon the direction of senior management. Determines tasks and activities required to implement the assigned project. Plans, organizes, schedules, and coordinates those tasks and activities. Monitors progress against the schedule. Initiates corrective action as necessary. Estimates, documents, and monitors project costs, initiating corrective actions as necessary. Negotiates with management to secure resources necessary to complete the project. Leads the team through execution of the project and provides day-to-day direction on process related activities. Conducts project risk assessments and plans/implements mitigation for systemic problems that would hinder/stop successful completion of the project. Regular reporting of progress/status of the project to established oversight resources/groups and other stakeholders. Report findings to executive management.
