Work closely with the West Technology leadership team and staff to provide strategic and tactical support in order to address core business needs. Drive the deployment of a full range of HR services for internal customer base. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY Provide HR leadership to the West Technology organization which includes approximately 1,000 employees located in Eagan, MN and Rochester, NY. Provide strategic consulting and leadership for a wide range of HR and business initiatives including: organizational design and alignment, change management, talent acquisition, retention, engagement, coaching, performance management, talent management and compensation analysis. Design, develop and implement HR programs that align with business goals and foster a high performing culture within West Technology. Provide ongoing support to the executive team by serving as an advisor in both a business and people related capacity. Serve as a key member of the West Technology executive team, working closely with the West/NAL CTO. Attend the CTO's weekly West Tech executive staff meetings, as well as departmental staff meetings chaired by technology VPs. Partner with the business to research, identify and implement resources and solutions to meet the organizational goals, objectives and key targets. Coordinate the talent acquisition process with key stakeholders and ensure the most innovative, cost effective and efficient approaches have been identified to attract and retain key talent. Establish key metrics to drive HR performance to meet the goals and needs of the business. Seek input from the business to ensure the right metrics are identified - measure and communicate regularly. In collaboration with the Compensation COE and business management, ensure all positions are appropriately defined, evaluated and market priced. Develop appropriate retention, reward or incentive programs to drive performance and goal attainment. Guide business partners and HR colleagues regarding the interpretation of policies and procedures. Actively lead, coach and mentor HR staff and colleagues. Provide development opportunities and stretch goals to engage and provide professional growth. RESPONSIBILITY FOR WORK OF OTHERS: This position will have three direct reports - senior generalist, HR specialist (immigration) and HR assistant. QUALIFICATIONS: Education Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field is required. M.A. IR, MBA preferred. Previous Experience Minimum of ten years of progressive professional business and/ human resources generalist experience. At least five years experience working closely with technology organizations and actively participating as a key member of their leadership team. Strong business acumen, project management, organizational, strategic, analytical and conflict resolution skills. Proven effective consultative experience with senior level leadership. Ability to challenge and influence as appropriate across multiple organizational levels. Results focused and detailed. Continuously aligns goals with the business and seeks feedback from business. Demonstrated high level of personal credibility. Demonstrated creativity and proficiency in talent acquisition, retention, organizational design, compensation and development. Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with all levels within an organization. Excellent oral and written communication abilities. Proven ability to develop and deliver effective presentations. Experience and desire to work in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic and multi-cultural business environment. Strong PC skills including MS Office. HRIS/PeopleSoft experience preferred. Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, remain focused under pressure, work extended hours and ability to travel based on the needs of the business.
