Define the strategy goals and objectives for the market area and facilitate action in the accomplishment of those goals. Ensure the maximum revenue and profit growth for the market area. Qualifications Qualifications: 1. MBA or JD 2. Requires a minimum of 7-10 years related technical and professional experience. 3. Skills required include business acumen, strategic planning, creativity, highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills, quantitative analytical abilities and outstanding communication skills. 4. The ability to work effectively within a matrix organization. Accountabilities: 1. Develop and execute segment management strategy for the specific market area including market segmentation, targeting of high value segments and development of programs to address the challenges of targeted segments 2. Facilitate action to accomplish market area strategy and revenue goals by working in a matrix across the organization (finance, solution lines, marketing, sales, pricing, etc) 3. Direct the development of, and participate in reviewing and approving, the short and long range operating objectives and plans, guiding the individual segment strategies to ensure maximum revenue growth in support of the corporate strategy. 4. Accountable for revenue objectives in the specific market area. 5. Responsible for ensuring through the market area strategy, the appropriate product portfolio mix and appropriate positioning. Develop recommendations for new product concepts based on market area input and existing product modifications in line with the market area and overall segment strategy. 6. Review and monitor the market area financial performance on a continuing basis, including risks/opportunities and work to adjust plans and priorities appropriately by balancing near/mid-terms business conditions with longer term priorities. 7. Direct the analysis for specific near term market opportunities of major importance and the development of business cases, pricing, negotiation and contract strategies to ensure an adequate level of customer satisfaction. 8. Develop and recommend sales channel strategy utilizing market research and data. 9. Establish and maintain appropriate communications within and between various functional areas within the market area of responsibility. 10. Works with pricing team to develop processes, recommend pricing actions, and creation of promotional programs in support of market area strategy and revenue plan.
