The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities This Solutions Architect sales position is a direct sales position selling LexisNexis Digital Asset Management solutions into a variety of federal, state and local government accounts. Will collaborate with multiple LexisNexis Account Managers to: (a) identify and qualify specific solution sales opportunities across a variety of accounts; (b) understand client challenges, symptoms and problems, and create solutions that are based on LexisNexis offerings; and (c) close sales opportunities up to and including contracting. Will be required to achieve sales goals based primarily on revenue targets.Qualifications Skills & certifications required: 1. Superior communicator with the ability to be credible and inspire confidence when presenting to senior executive and technically savvy audiences. 2. Excellent oral and presentation skills, with particular emphasis on creative solution development 3. Excellent written and presentation creation skills, including experience in developing proposals. Government sales background including a working knowledge of government procurement processes and contract options is strongly preferred. 4. Advanced degree preferred Required experience: 5-7 years sales experience, preferably selling to the government, large corporations or large law firms. Competencies, abilities & behaviors: 1. Knowledge of digital asset management solutions, including but not limited to: digitization of multiple media types into electronic format; creation of indices and other searchable taxonomies using meta data; creation and maintenance of private databases. 2. Ability to understand and articulate the value of LN solutions as well as competitive offerings. 3. Clear results-orientation with the ability to prioritize and deliver key initiatives 4. Ability to network effectively both internally and externally 5.
