Corporate Paralegal -- In-House LONG-TERM temporary position

Are you a temporary corporate paralegal with experience handling corporate governance/housekeeping either in a large law firm or corporate environment?  Are you looking for a long term contract position with a major corporation in the East Bay?  If so, Providus wants to hear from you!

Providus is recruiting an experienced (minimum of 3+ years) corporate transactional paralegal or corporate governance professional for a long-term (6+ months) position at a major corporation in the East Bay.  You will be responsible for reviewing and updating corporate records, maintaining entities in good standing and keeping them in compliance with local laws and company policy, assisting with the oversight and maintenance of the enterprise subsidiary database and assisting with the preparation, review and collection of different types of corporate documents, including board and shareholder consents.  Additionally, you will also conduct legal research and other business research and compile statistical and other information.  Ideal candidate has a BA degree and paralegal certificate and 3+ years of experience assisting with corporate governance in a corporate environment and/or large law firm environment.
