Job Description:
The Chicago office is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant who is responsible for the preparation and filing of incorporation or formation documents, drafting organizational consents, preparation and filing of foreign qualifications and withdrawal applications, preparation and filing of d/b/a applications, preparation, review and summary of UCC financing statements, applications for EINs, drafting consents for board and officer elections.
Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of corporate governance experience including drafting skills, ordering documents, maintenance of minute books and stock ledgers and assistance with closings. In addition, strong computer abilities, attention to detail, ability to multitask, excellent communication and organizational skills are required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Travel and overtime may be required.
