Contract Administrator Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:UPS Supply Chain Solutions is currently seeking a Contract Administrator Manager for the Contracts Department. A Contract Administrator Manager impacts the organization by ensuring that UPS SCS and client responsibilities are clearly defined and documented to ensure that UPS Supply Chain Solutions is protected to mitigate risk factors. A Contract Administrator Manager determines the liability, indemnification responsibilities, and obligations of UPS Supply Chain Solutions will assume in customer contract engagements. Responsibilities:? Construction and negotiation of contracts including review and approval of Master Agreements, Service Schedules, Statements of Work, Quality Agreements, and Service Level Agreements.? Review contracts to identify risks associated with the business relationship and recommend contract language to mitigate such risks. ? Review, amend and negotiate customer-submitted contracts as required and negotiate solutions to disputes.? Develop standard UPS SCS contract language for customer engagements.? Participate in contract negotiations with customers business and legal representatives.? Train Business Development and other UPS SCS business units on contract processes and procedures. Skills:? Strong oral and written communications and negotiating skills.? Knowledge of corporate law.? Detail orientated with excellent problem solving skills / ability to think analytically.? Proficient in MS Office.? Must be familiar with GMP and GDP and a broad range of regulatory statutes in the USA and other country laws that may relate to regulated products. Ability to communicate with and influence Director level decision makers within the UPS SCS organization.Education/Experience:? Bachelor?s degree required.? 3-5 years contracting experience in a regulated environment more specifically related to warehousing, storage, handling, distribution (which may include pharmaceuticals, medical devices, hazardous, bio-hazardous materials) and associated logistics services.? Experience in a quality or compliance role would be a plus.
