Collection Manager
Established, successful, HIGH VOLUME law office in Naperville, IL has a Collector Manager opportunity available in our Collections Department.
We are currently seeking a Collector Manager for our Collections Department.Responsible for hiring, initial and ongoing training and retention of effective Collector staff, including our supervisory personnel. Oversee Supervisor efforts to manage and make solid legal decisions/strategies, including providing clear instructions that comply with Federal, Client and Firm policies and procedures. Complete all applicable development documentation of Supervisors, including monthly, quarterly and annual reviews; oversee all applicable development documentation of additional Collections staff, including monthly, quarterly and annual review. This person will be accountable for all call center related responsibilities.
Over see the design, implementation and ongoing evaluation of collection strategies and related compensation plans. Oversee compilation and analysis of effective reporting system and Client forecasting. This position requires multi-tasking skills,attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, and sense of urgency.
Requirements:
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency is a must.
Minimum7 years of retail collection experience is required.
Minimum5 years managing personnel; call center management is required.
Minimum2 years Automated Dialing System management experience is preferred.
TouchStar software experience is preferred.
Experience with Collection Master (CLS) is a plus.
Complete understanding of collection industry policies and procedures is a must:
FDCPA, FACTA, GLBA, TCPA and all other applicable State and Federal laws
Minimum of Associates Degree in related field is preferred.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced,high volume, often times stressful environment. Accuracy and attention to detail are imperative in this position.
