($70K+) Â Â This firm is seeking a permanent legal secretary with strong corporate bankrucpy experience to support 2-3 attorneys. This firm offers a collegial work environment and generous compensation package. On top of that, the hours are excellent-(9:00AM-5:00PM)! Responsibilities: Draft and prepare document for State & Federal court filings (including e-filings) Conduct legal research on PACER, Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw Preparation of Chapter 7, 11, and 13 petitions and plan Draft complaints, affidavits, certifications, motions, proofs of claims and objections to claims Edit and revise financial documents Qualifications: 10+ years of experience as a bankruptcy legal secretary Knowledge of bankruptcy code and procedures, local bankruptcy rules Must type 75+ WPM Must be proficient with Microsoft Office This firm is looking to move fast!
