Description:
Global Financial Services Company seeks Audit Project Manager with Audit, Risk, Settlement Experience for New York office to work closely with an Operational/Financial audit team, Senior Audit Managers (formerly titled and Directors in conducting audits by planning, developing and executing detailed audit programs. Incumbents typically coordinate multiple audits in a single line of business, with a focus on mature business units supported by mainframe/legacy systems. Conduct follow-up with business units to ensure compliance with final audit recommendations.
Responsibilities:Planning, overseeing, and executing multiple audits in a specific business unitReviewing and editing planningPreparing/reviewing audit reports and work papersWith appropriate oversight, and on a limited basis, interacting with regulatory bodiesServing as technical subject matter expert regarding the general audit process and operational processes of specific business unitsCoordinating follow-up with business areas, documenting outstanding recommendations, and ensuring compliance with final recommendationsProviding training and guidance/oversight to Senior Auditors and Audit Project Managers as neededDeveloping skills among audit team members to sustain team motivation while meeting corporate audit goals
Qualifications:8+ years of audit experience (risk, clearance, settlement)Comprehensive knowledge of several operational areas being auditedGood operational/financial background, including strong knowledge of all operations, with a high level of understanding of the various systems/applications used in business areasSolid understanding of the roles of the various parties involved in the audit process (e.g. audit staff, regulators, senior management team)Excellent team-building skills, interpersonal skills, and PC skillsBachelor's Degree in a business-related field (e.g., Accounting, Finance); PA or CIA preferred (4428B~)
