The Mergis Group has been retained to search for an attorney with corporate experience.  This high-level position is with a well-established and growing company located in Kansas City, Missouri.  The qualified candidate will have 5-12 years experience practicing law, preferably in a corporate setting or in a corporate department of a law firm.The ideal candidate will have a generalist background.  The position will be responsible for handling a variety of legal matters on the company's behalf, including litigation management, sales agreements and other transactional matters, mergers and acquisitions, in-house employment matters, and compliance issues.This high-profile position has significant growth potential and requires an interest and drive to help lead and build an organization.Relocation assistance is available.
