AP Manager

Accounts Payable Manager

 

 

Growing company in the Perimeter Mall area looking for a strong manager for their corporate A/P team.

 

Duties:

 

·  Manage a staff of 3-4 employees including hiring, team development, conducting performance appraisals and assigning workload.

·  Develop and implement companywide AP policies and procedures

·  Manage the annual 1099 process

·  Set-up and monitor all national vendor accounts

·  Assist with advanced vendor issues including vendor negotiations

·  Review and analysis of AP aging

·  Review all payables to ensure correct GL account and cost centers are charged

·  Other duties as assigned

 

 

Requirements:

 

·  7-10 years full cycle AP experience

·  3-5 years management experience, with demonstrated success at developing and leading a team

·  Associates degree in Accounting required, Bachelor’s preferred

·  Advanced Excel skills

·  Excellent interpersonal skills, including the professionalism to work in a consultative manner with every level of internal and external customers, including senior management

·  Solid decision making skills

·  Must be able to handle high level of volume and strict deadlines

·  Ability to maintain confidential information
