Web Product Presentation/Content Manager

Come join our team!  We are seeking a Web Product Presentation/Content Manager to join our team at Home Décor Products, Inc (www.hdpi.com). We are an online retailer of home décor and home improvement products and #5 in the Home Improvement Category of Internet Retailer’s Top 500 - and growing fast.

 

This individual in this position will be responsible for the management of the Web Product Presentation Team.  The team is responsible for managing all product data that supports the customer experience on Home Décor Product, Inc’s websites.

 

ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day activities of a team of web product presentation specialists including training, balancing workloads, monitoring performance, coaching and counseling.Work cross-functionally with the merchandising, marketing and IT teams as well as vendors to provide to optimize product presentation and improve the efficiency of data management.Participate proactively in efforts to improve the quality of the customer’s experience on the website(s). Identify and implement improvements to the process of adding, deleting and editing merchandise items.Standardize data requirements where applicable across merchandise categories.

 RequirementsMinimum five years experience at leading a team, providing coaching, mentoring, performance measurement and improvement with a track record of improving individual and team productivity.Knowledge of data structure and content management.  Knowledge specific to e-commerce is a “plus”.Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle priorities to meet the needs of the organization.Proven ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and with outside parties.Expert working knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio.Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (scanning, resizing and retouching) and HTML.
