Overview:

This chain of upscale department stores is looking for a Web Producer / Project Manager to work in their New York City office. The candidate will work as part of an experienced design team and with third party vendors. The Producer is responsible for delivering original, strategic, and creative solutions and for the organization, evolution, and functionality of all web features and strategies and finally, a working application.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Primary responsibilities will include coordinating resources, schedules, tasks and plans, and effectively communicating across multiple departments.
Define and maintain control over scope of project resources, and support a continuous improvement process for all site enhancements and deliverables.
Document the business goals and scope of each site enhancement.
Maintain a site enhancements list, and provide support and direction to the Site Production team.
Create on-site enhancements, drafting business requirements, testing and communicating status to business partners and senior management.
Collaborate with all team members to create a definitive and concise project plan and to resolve schedule/resource conflicts.
Participate in meetings (marketing, merchandising, customer service, legal, development, third party service providers, etc.) to evaluate potential changes to a site
Identify possibilities for improvements on existing site architecture to ensure consistent performance
Coordinate with merchandising, marketing, and creative to guarantee that the current software release is thoroughly tested prior to signing off.
Responsible for researching, prioritizing, and resolving both live and testing site issues, including site functionality (i.e. search, promotions, customer service, legal, store content, checkout, wish list, etc.)



Requirements:
A proven resourceful, resilient leader who motivates staff members while maintaining a friendly, team-oriented environment
Exhibit an animated interest in learning new systems/processes/tools for future integration for web technologies.
Superior analytical, problem-solving and negotiating skills required.
E-commerce/direct-to-consumer website experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Salary / Hourly RateExcellent salary range from $75 - $85K commensurate with experience and salary history.
