Web Analyst

Web Site Analyst   The Opportunity: The Web Site Analyst will be part of a growing global team that is responsible for tracking and reporting on web site data to advance our understanding of web site users, their behavior and how to optimize site design, content and sales. This position will partner with internal departments to define, develop and deliver site reporting that informs site, product and marketing decision-making.   Essential Functions:   Partner with Monster Sales, Product and Marketing groups to define and develop reporting on key performance metrics to optimize product offerings, marketing campaigns, site content, site functionality and sales. Drive business decision-making by educating and informing internal customers on web metrics -terminology, trends, insights and recommendations. Analyze the impact of multiple traffic sources including search, display and CRM. Define, create and manage analysis for understanding baseline traffic, pathing, clickstream, and funnel conversion Develop best practice approaches for analyzing user behavior on the web site(s); as well as general tracking set-up, and data interpretation Participate in the design and site flow to make sure that all metrics are built into the system Communicate effectively to a diverse and varying knowledge base the impact of site developments. Conduct ad-hoc traffic analysis of key areas of the site. Qualifications:   BA or BS with strong analytical skills Must have experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent Basic level SQL skills required Web Analytics experience, especially eCommerce site experience, preferred Campaign management preferred Experience with multivariate or split testing Experience with Web Analytics tools preferred (WebTrends, Omniture, NetTracker, Visual Sciences, etc.) Experience with syndicated marketing research tools preferred (MediaMetrix, NetRatings, etc.) Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Strong communication skills, both verbal and written About Monster Monster is the number one name in online recruitment.
