Trafficking Specialist, Print/eProducts

Needham, MA

 

TechTarget is seeking a Trafficking Specialist who will be responsible for trafficking print ads for two TechTarget magazines as well as trafficking and designing e-products.  As part of the Operations team, the successful candidate will be highly detail oriented, comfortable in a customer-facing role and experienced at working under tight deadlines.

 

Essential Job Functions - Print:

 

• Traffick monthly magazine advertising with Sales Team for creative deliverables;

• Manage timeline for prepress and print vendor on a monthly basis to ensure deadlines are met;

• Check all creative deliverables for spec compliance;

• Check all proofs from prepress vendor and online proofs from Printer for accurate placement;

• Troubleshoot trafficking issues with prepress and print vendor; and,

• Recommend improvements to our trafficking and quality assurance process.

 

Essential Job Functions – E-products:

 

• Project manage custom programs; including leading kick-off meetings, managing deadlines and managing expectations;

• Traffick ads using ad server (DART);

• Design PDF based products, using Quark (MAC-based) page layout program;

• QA creative media to ensure that it displays correctly;

• Check all trafficked media for accurate placement and clickthru; and,

• Recommend improvements to our trafficking and quality assurance process.

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

 

• Bachelor’s degree;

• Candidate must have 1+ year experience in either online media trafficking with an industry standard ad-serving vendor (DoubleClick);

• Must be familiar with all types of print and online media advertising;

• Experience with DART, Quark Xpress; Photoshop; Illustrator;

• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a deadline oriented environment;

• Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in person and via e-mail;

• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving problems; and,

• Demonstrated ability to work directly with internal departments towards issue resolution/project release.
