About Business group or Product Job Responsibilities Quality Assurance Engineer - YMG Finance This opportunity is for an individual with strong QA skills, are highly efficient, enjoy working in a collaborative environment and have a strong sense of responsibility and accountability for yourself and team members in cross fuctional teams. Responsibilities: 1. Write and update test plans, test cases and test strategy documents. Implement testcases and execute both manual and automated test scripts. 2. Execute planned testing tasks (manually or using automation) 3.Develope automated test frameworks for backend and frontend applications. 3. Participate in Release Management activities. 4. Participate in production monitoring. 5. Review customer reported issues. Identify trends and drive resolution process 6. Keep management informed of progress and escalate issues when needed Minimum Job Qualifications: 1. Experience in QA automation tools like ( selenium / Waitr ), reporting, web monitoring, and code coverage tools. 2. Solid 3 to 5 years experience in black box, gray box and white box testing at the GUI, Database and API level 3. Active team participant with strong technical skills. 4. Strong hands-on experience writing QA test plans and test cases while executing them. Expert knowledge of the Software Quality Assurance discipline,QA methodologies, procedures & documentation(ability to plan a test effort, identify test cases, evaluate coverage, etc.) 5. Strong written & verbal communication skills. 7. Excellent problem solving,analytical and troubleshooting skills 8. Knowledge of software development life cycle. 9. Strong Programming experience specifically in PERL, PHP,C/C++ and Java 10.Excellent Unix skills (FreeBSD and Red Hat Linux in particular) 11.Knowledge of technologies like xml, ajax, JavaScript, css, html 12.Expirience to perform load testing, and security testing using different test tools. Preferable Job Qualifications: . BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent. •Familiarity with Flash, Actionscipt, Browser DOMs and DHTML •Experience with GUI automation using Selenium, WATIR or Silktest •Familiarity with open source testing tools such as the xUnit frameworks, Framework for Integrated Tests (FIT), TestNG, JMeter, Testlink, and STAF •Database skills (Oracle and MySQL) Yahoo!
