System Administrator
The Nucleus Group is an affiliation of companies offering a breadth of synergistic products and services focused on empowering marketing teams. In the group's Seattle office two of it's fast growing companies, Whitespace Healthcare Markting and Appature are in need of a skilled and talented system administrator. As a system administrator, you will be challenged with supporting and enhancing infrastructure for a growing team of over 40 people. You will be the primary engineer in charge of planning, integrating, and maintaining all interal software and hardware infrastructure such as Exchange, Backup, DNS, Active Directory, Firewalls, Switches, Access Points and more. You will be responsible for ensuring security best practices, leading technology migration efforts, ensuring maximum user up-time, and helping to define adoption plans for future software solutions to support various job functions.

Requirements:
Â
- A good knowledge of Windows systems and networks
- A good knowledge of computer hardware components and their relation to effective deployment of software applications.
- 2-5+ years of Systems Administration experience in a 24x7 on-call operations environment.
- Experience working with at least one implementation of SQL (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL, PostGRE, etc)
- Experience working with at least one scripting language (e.g. Perl, PHP, VBScript, JavaScript, etc)
- Strong fault analysis and problem solving skills
- Outstanding teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to get things done, be proactive, and stop problems befoure they arise
- A desire to learn and a willingness to adapt to many different technologies quickly.
