Supplier Account Manager

Manages assigned supplier account activities.  The ideal candidate possesses strong management and leadership skills, technical savvy, excellent understanding of healthcare manufacturing supply chain processes and a strong understanding for the smooth system implementation/integration at manufacturer locations. The duties include:

  Ensuring that the WaveMark products and services are properly scoped to meet customer needs and delivered on time and within budget, while exceeding customer expectations and satisfactions Establish, implement and measure effective customer training initiatives for WaveMark supplier Services offerings; ensuring that initiatives are designed to educate customer on proper use and the value of maximizing use of WaveMark products & services Establishing strong working relationships with executive sponsors, project leads and other critical decision makers and influencers within the supplier community Maximizing suppliers’ utilization of WaveMark services by working with suppliers (and their distribution partners) to expand their capabilities as outlined through the supplier benchmarking process Work cross functionally with internal WaveMark teams (i.e., Technology, Operations and Provider Services) to ensure high quality service delivery that brings value to suppliers and their end customers Identifying new product and service offerings as well as new sales opportunities within existing customer base Working with sales to sign new supplier accounts and renew existing accounts. Ensuring that all supplier activities are performed within the revenue and expense targets established via the Supplier services budget

  Subject matter proficiency Establishing efficient and effective work processes to accomplish company/team goals and objectives Possessing strong knowledge of market factors including Business drivers and corresponding value propositions that apply across the supplier base Overall healthcare supply chain processes and corresponding technologies WaveMark products and services and the value they provide across the supplier base Competitive offerings and their comparison to WaveMark products and services Possessing strong knowledge of required internal competencies Client relationship management Client performance and satisfaction management/assessment Client integration processes, business process change and corresponding techniques External relationship management Possessing a strong working knowledge of key corporate processes and capabilities and proven competency in working across the organization to accomplish both team and corporate objectives Developing and managing external relationships needed to accomplish established goals and objectives Financial Management Working with Director of Supplier Solutions and finance on establishing and evaluating business plans for new opportunities as necessary

 

o   Developing and managing external relationships needed to accomplish established product management goals and objectives Financial Management

o   Develop software product business plans for new and existing product opportunities as necessary

 Qualifications

·         Business, Computer Science Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and/or equivalent level of work experience

·         This individual must have at least five (5) years of experience in healthcare supply chain experience; preferable experience with the issues surrounding consignment and trunk stock practices of high-end, medical devices and implantable devices

·         This position requires excellent organization, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills

·         Knowledge and expertise surrounding the use of bar code and RFID technologies as well as the technical and enumerations standards associated with their use is a plus

·         Strong Knowledge of internet development environment including: development architectures, middleware architectures, database architectures, integration and messaging architectures

·         Strong knowledge of project management methodologies

·         Able to work without direct supervision

·         Field location in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Boston, Southern California or Denver

·         Position requires travel as needed usually to client sites
