About the JOB:

As a Senior Strategic Account Executive you will be responsible for acquiring, growing and retaining relationships with advertisers and advertising agencies. Prospect, qualify and close sales with a large number of advertisers to drive revenue for The Marchex Adhere PPC and Site Specific Network. Gain new business through inbound sales leads, phone and e-mail sales efforts with some limited travel required.

 

YOUR Experience:

· 3 to 5 years experience in sales role.  Online advertising sales experience and media sales experience preferred but not required.

· Demonstrated success in goal oriented, highly accountable sales environment preferred but not required.

· Superior communication skills, including presentations, phone and e-mail.

· Experience with a large account base, particularly working with both new and ongoing accounts for long-term relationships.

· Understanding of advertising and the Internet preferred but not required.

· Ability to work as part of a sales team.

· Comfortable in an Internet environment with the ability to successfully function independently
