We are aggressively seeking a Web 2.0-savvy Webmaster to spearhead our efforts to build state-of-the-art websites and communities that will showcase, market and unleash our platform to a vast user base. The leading candidate will take charge of launching, managing and continuously revamping BroadSoft’s entire suite of existing and emerging web properties. With enthusiasm and a passion for innovation, the leading candidate will transform BroadSoft’s web presence into a state-of-the-art, Web 2.0, viral marketing-rich arena with a cutting-edge feature set and a “wisdom of the crowds” atmosphere. Duties and Responsibilities: Re-envision BroadSoft’s web presence from a Web 2.0, viral marketing point of view. Rally stakeholders around new approaches to building and revamping BroadSoft’s web presence. Invent and write requirements for emerging BroadSoft properties and features. Visualize and design BroadSoft properties and features. Execute front-end web development (i.e. html coding, building in Dreamweaver, etc.) Aggressively test new products, (i.e. QA, user testing) Manage community web hosts and/or platform providers and partners Inspire the new user base as an online community leader, manager and moderator (e.g. gathering feedback, curbing abuse, providing encouragement) Scale, optimize and track all BroadSoft web properties and features. Other duties as required Skill, Educational Requirements, and Needed Attributes Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Liberal Arts or equivalent work experience 6-8 years as webmaster or in HTML (or Dreamweaver, FrontPage or other web-building software) 2+ years in marketing 1+ years in the social networking and Web 2.0 area preferred Experience with product management and design preferred Intranet/extranet experience preferred Experience with content-management-systems preferred Needed Attributes: Enthusiasm for emerging Web 2.0 technologies, viral marketing and social networking Excellent communication skills including: Communicating key Web 2.0 concepts and best practices to others Written technical communications Providing technical training Must possess an intense sense of urgency, will be an energetic self-starter with a passion for hands-on implementation Must be extremely computer literate, organized and detail-oriented with strong communication and problem solving skills Ability to work efficiently as part of a team Ready to work on very diverse assignments and also be ready to deal with a fluctuating workload
