We’re looking for bright minds dedicated to making their ideas come alive to create products and services for Interactive TV, mobile phones, the Web, video and other exciting projects, plus provide marketing, operations and other expertise for our fast-growing company.  YELLOWPAGES.COM has a Contract Sr. Technical Recruiter opportunity available, based in our Glendale, CA offices.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Creates, develops and executes search strategies from concept to completion and is also responsible for identifying top diverse talent prior to positions being opened. Continuously partners with hiring managers and Group HR Reps to ensure most effective recruitment support is provided and results in successful hires in the shortest time frame. Accountable for all aspects of recruitment activity for assigned positions including but not limited to: developing a recruitment strategy, monitoring web postings, scheduling timely interviews, accurately reporting applicant statuses, and executing agreed upon recruitment strategy for each opening. Responsible for recruitment of entry and professional level technical positions. Recruitment efforts will be conducted through direct sourcing, industry networking, Internet, resume database, employee referrals, and appropriate trade and industry organizations. Develops recommends and executes recruitment strategies and processes for all searches through to successful completion. Attends college recruitment events and recommends internship strategies for designated client groups. Complies with and implements established search execution processes including, but not limited to: Interviewing candidates face-to-face, sending written weekly status reports to hiring managers. Builds and develops external relationships with talent at all levels within area of industry expertise, introducing top tier and diverse talent into the company prior to there being an active vacancy. Partners with Director HR in generating new hire offers. Provides updates on a timely basis to ensure accurate reporting on statistics on time to fill, costs, applicant flow, candidate development and source of hire. Works closely with HR Director on developing proactive recruitment and succession planning strategies.  Qualifications:  BA/BS degree or equivalent is required. Approximately 2-5 years of experience in technical recruitment or other related professional service function. A background emanating from an in-house recruitment function combined with experience from a contingency and/or retained search firm is desired. Knowledge of the Internet industry is strongly preferred. Consummate service orientation. Stays abreast of market trends and tracks the competition. Able to create job descriptions. Demonstrated ability to manage high volume recruitment activities. Demonstrated ability to execute full cycle technical level searches. Must be organized; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and able to anticipate future business needs. Must have a strong business acumen. Detail oriented. Must be able to analyze resumes and determine appropriate matches for vacancies. Must be able to target and source potential candidates for searches. Proficient in MS Word, Excel. Able to learn new computer skills as required. Able to work independently, prioritize and handle pressure. Knowledge of Affirmative Action and EEO guidelines on employee selection and employee relations issues relative to the recruitment process. Discreet; able to handle confidential information.
