TITLE: Sr. QA Automation Engineer for large Internet ProviderLOCATION: New York, New YorkDURATION: Until 12/31/2008REQUIREMENTS AND SKILL SETS Must meet all requirements to be considered Responsibilities:We are seeking a detail-oriented Sr. QA Engineer with extensive test automation experience, utilizing the Mercury suite of automation tools. The individual will be responsible for producing significant and measurable results in QA efficiency. Essential duties and responsibilities include: Design, implement and maintain the QA Automation framework and test scenarios. Implement initial set up of Mercury Quality Center Create readable, maintainable, high performance automation scripts utilizing the Mercury automation tools. (Emphasis will be on completing the functional/regression suite, with load/performance tests as time permits). Provide training to other employees on testing best automation practices. Senior QA or Software development role experience Experience in developing/maintaining software testing automation frameworks Mercury test automation skills Load and performance testing experience Experience testing in cross-platform environment - Windows, Solaris, Linux Proven ability to translate detailed requirements into test plans and cases Strong analytical and communication skills Experience in shell and Windows scripting is a plus Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, databases and Oracle Since 1946, Spherion has been helping talented individuals find rewarding job opportunities that drive excellence in their career.
