Sr. Product Manager for Second Life

Overview:
Linden Lab (creators of Second Life) seeks a passionate, collaborative, analytical, and experienced Senior Product Manager to perform market analysis, understand customer needs, develop product strategy, and define product roadmaps and requirements.  We are currently hiring for this role in Seattle, Boston and Mountain View, CA. 


Responsibilities:
Perform industry, market, and customer analyses.Perform competitive benchmarking to identity best practices.Work closely with other functional groups in the product planning process, including community, customer support, finance, reporting & analytics, legal, and business development.Define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.Create use cases and business requirements with quantified business case / ROI justifications.Work cross-functionally to define product requirements.Collaborate with design to create interaction and visual design concepts.Define, track and improve key product metrics and develop tests against those metrics.Collaborate with engineering and program management to deliver against product roadmap.Build positive relationships and trust over time through strong on-time delivery, high quality, continuous innovation, and the exceeding of expectations.Collaborate with the community and marketing teams to develop positioning messages and communicate them to the Second Life community.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of solid product management experience in all aspects of the product lifecycle.Demonstrated track record of building world class products.The ideal candidate would also have experience building internally facing tools for billing, customer service, workflow optimization, and/or reporting.High degree of comfort with metrics, data analytics, and reporting tools.Strong problem solving skills.Passionate about building innovative and transformational products.Strong sense of accountability and delivering against expectations.Ability to quickly drive to decisions and consensus building.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Direct experience in virtual worlds and a keen understanding of recent trends is highly valued.
