Job Category Marketing/Product Senior Site E-Commerce Merchandise Manager --- Bloomingdales.com, New York Overview: Bloomingdale's is seeking a Senior Site E-Commerce Merchandise Manager. The Senior Site E-Commerce Merchandise Manager works with the Site Merchandise Managers, Creative and Buying team on the creation of Site using data from Coremetrics - ensure that all Project Briefs are submitted in a timely manner and follow up with Creative Project Manager to ensure Ads are delivered on time Key Accountabilities: MANAGE PRODUCT CREATION FUNCTION Create schedule for website releases and follow up to make sure deadlines are met Manage the process of product turn in with the help of an Account Executive- this would ensure that internet only products are ready in our content management system before the expected buyer launch date Ensure testing is completed and signed off by Site Merchandise Managers before each refresh MANAGE MERCHANDISING FUNCTION Ensure consistency across the site in navigation, category page execution and creative asset placement Coremetrics - Analyze site traffic and conversion metrics to optimize site merchandising of navigation structure- also use this to help create effective category page Ads Manage key event setup- i.e. Gift navigation, Promotions etc- work closely with the Marketing team to ensure the Calendar is followed Develop category structure and product placement strategy through analytics Manage the Search process and promotion system Work closely with Creative and the Buying team to ensure new navigation is created in a timely manner MANAGE REPORTING FUNCTION Weekly monitoring of the Home page- report to Senior Management on results and provide feedback on improvements Manage the distribution of Coremetrics reporting to the larger organization STRATEGY Manage Site Enhancements Ensure training for new staff and the Buyers occurs in a timely manner Use competitive analysis to develop ideas for new enhancements, marketing ideas and navigational changes Skills Required: Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 3-6 years experience Strong analytical and PC skills Strong negotiation skills Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management Bloomingdale's is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V
