Senior Database Engineer (SQL Server Developer)

We’re looking for a Senior Database Engineer to join our Product Development Team. In this critical role, you will be involved in developing, building and engineering new databases for our SMB Applications and product modules. This key position will also contribute to enhance our RDBMS in a 24x7, high transaction volume, mission critical, production environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:Database schema design geared for performance using MS SQL Server. Provide support the development to ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process by defining the requirements, development, and testing procedure to ensure the quality and accuracy of data.Analysis and modeling of the performance data that might impact our mission critical services. Proven experience in data modeling, the ability to communicate effectively to engineers, managers and program managers, excellent in problem solving, experience in TSQL, stored procedure in MS SQL environment, and ability to perform in an Agile environment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:7 years minimum experience as a Database Developer, Software Engineer, or DBEUtilizing SQL Server, ASP.net, XML, Active X, Stored Procedure and Performance Tuning Solid understanding of application life cycle.Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to think creatively under pressureBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related technical discipline
