For more information on comScore Networks, please go to http://www.comscore.comJob Overview:The Security Abuse department at MySpace is responsible for handling all incoming inquiries pertaining to phishing, spamming and hacking activity. In addition to responding to these inquiries, Abuse Specialists are also responsible for taking the necessary action to cease such activity. The ideal candidate will be detailed-oriented, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and works with a sense of urgency.Responsibilities:•Learns and maintains a thorough working knowledge of departmental policies and procedures •Accurately and efficiently assesses and evaluates user inquiries•Handles and addresses spam complaints from users•Removes phishing sites from user profiles and notifies victims of phishing abuse•Escalates issues to higher levels of support using appropriate channels•Utilizes technical knowledge to troubleshoot abuse issueRequirements: •Passes all standardized agency testing•Must pass background check•Must work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every week•Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills•Ability to work in a dynamic work environment•Exercises sound judgment to ensure user satisfaction •Detail-oriented and self-motivated•Previous experience with non-verbal customer service channels (e-mail, text chat, etc) and e-mail applications desired•Must be able to multi-task •Excellent understanding of the Internet, web hosting, network operations and DNS scripting •Moderate understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and front-end coding
