Search Engine Marketing Analyst
Search Engine Marketing Analyst
LampsPlus.com, a leading lighting and home décor retail website, is looking for a Search Engine Marketing Analyst to work in their fast-growing Internet Marketing department.
The SEM Analyst is a growth position that will support the Search Engine Marketing Team and will primarily aid the team in developing search strategies, tracking the effectiveness of new Search Engine Marketing campaigns, and monitoring performance of existing campaigns.
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $35-60K depending on experience.
Essential Functions:
Provide support and analysis for LAMPS PLUS Search Engine Marketing team including:
o Monitor, track, and report on search engine marketing metrics, including return on investment & trend analysis.
o Provide optimization recommendations for search engine marketing campaigns on Google, MSN and Yahoo.
o Consult with Content Manager and the Creative Director to optimize copy and landing pages for Search Engine Marketing.
o Lead future SEM campaigns, keyword discovery, and keyword expansion.
o Provide support in Shopping Data Feed management and maintenance.
o Research and benchmark competitor paid search efforts.
o Complete other on-going ad hoc internet marketing projects as necessary.
Job Qualifications:
o A degree in business, marketing, communications or related subjects. Bachelors Degree required.
o Passion for the Internet. Retail and Internet marketing experience a plus.
o Quick Learner with very high attention to detail.
o Demonstrate a proactive work ethic and able to prioritize daily work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
o Exceptional communication skills. Show superior judgment and professionalism when corresponding with partners and team members.
o Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes.
o Analytical and reporting skills - Able to analyze metric data and convey recommendations appropriately to supervisors.
o Strong quantitative abilities and comfortable working with large amounts of data.
o Strong technical skills (e.g. understanding of basic HTML, URL construction).
o Exceptional MS Excel Skills with MS Access experience a plus.
