Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
The Account Executive is responsible for acquiring and retaining advertisers for the Smarter.com website. Method of acquisition will primarily be inbound/outbound phone and e-mail contact, but will also include light travel and tradeshow selling opportunities.
- Acquire new advertisers for Smarter.com through to online signup and datafeed submittal.
- Provide high quality service to Smarter.com advertisers utilizing clear and concise telephone and email communication skills
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals, effectively represent company to advertisers, understand competitive landscape for internet advertising and comparison shopping. Achieve minimum monthly performance quota.
- Sell new products as required
- Develop, with the Sales team, ongoing improvements to the process of prospecting, qualifying, and closing key accounts.




Required Education and Experience:
- Four-year undergraduate degree required.
- A minimum of 4 years of CPC / CPM sales experience with an Internet company preferred.
