About the Software Development Test Engineer Opportunity
The SDET will be responsible for designing and implementing tests and test tools around key portions of InfoSpace's data warehouse and business intelligence platforms. Working in small teams of approximately 8 engineers, the SDET will have an opportunity to be creative and directly affect the process with their ideas and input.

Essential Job Duties
* Work closely within an Agile environment with other engineers and Program Managers (Scrum Masters) to understand product requirements and validate the software solutions produced by the team.
* Effectively design and implement tests and test related tools.
* File bugs, pursue resolutions and subsequent regressions.
* Write test designs, test cases, and participate in code reviews.
* Own testing of key features and products.
* Interact with developers and understand product design.
* Collaborate with an effective team building tools and test automation that increase team output and product quality.
* Communicate effectively with others.
Required Skills
Required Skills, Education & Experience
* Min 3-4 Years of experience as an SDET and/or developer.
* Experience testing/developing data warehouse and business intelligence applications.
* Strong understanding of SQL is required. Experience with C# or SSIS is desired.
* Ability and experience writing automated test cases using one of the languages listed above - strong white box tester.
* Strong ability to write effective test designs and test cases.
* Strong ability and desire to run manual test cases when required.

Additional Skills Desired
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
* Experience creating automation tests using Visual studio 2005 for Software testers.
* Experience with .NET, Netezza, MicroStrategy, and MS SQL server technologies.
